Our History

3:16 Moving was founded in 2009 by Jack Hughes with a mission to provide reliable, customer-focused moving services in the United States. From the start, we have prioritized personalized care over scale, steadily growing through dedication and quality.

Key Milestones

2010 – 2014: we expanded into long distance moves and storage solutions. We introduced insurance movers to protect clients’ belongings during the move.
2015 – 2018: we improved customer service with 24/7 support and added packing options like cheap boxes and free box programs. Our services grew to include last minute moves, commercial relocations, and equipment moves.
2020: during the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted by enhancing safety protocols and focusing on local moves. This strengthened client trust.
2024: 3:16 Moving offers full-service moves, including packing, unpacking, storage, and insurance coverage. We use eco-friendly packing materials and serve residential and commercial clients.
2025: purchase of three new vehicles.
